On Thursday, May 20, 2004, Josh Tickell, author of From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank, spoke about biodiesel, the status of the biodiesel industry worldwide, and the links between the petroleum industry and the current world wide political situation. Josh previewed footage of his film, Fields of Fuel.
BIODIESEL CARSHOW
The BBC held a biodiesel car show on March 27, 2004. A couple hundred enthusiastic people came through and learned about biodiesel.

BIODIESEL BY THE BAY EVENT REPORT BACKS ARE IN
On September 13th, 2003 the Berkeley Biodiesel Collective hosted “Biodiesel By the Bay” an event that brought together for the first time Biodiesel activists from around the Bay Area and Northern California. WILLY MAKES FUEL!!!
On September 14th, 2003 Willy inaugurated the latest project that he has been working on with housemates Hillary, Bill and Novella. Recognizing the value of an abandoned lot next to their new home they have transformed it into a guerilla garden and a guerilla fuel making space. GREASE MONKEYS MAKE APPEARANCE AT BERKELEY PARADE
On September 28th 2003 the Grease Monkeys were out in full force spreading the message of biodiesel to enthusiastic onlookers at the annual “How Berkeley Can You Be?” parade in Downtown Berkeley.
