Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit
August 26 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit. Saying these words on the first day of the month is thought to bring good luck by the end of the month (Coincidentally, did you know that the gestation for rabbits is 30 days? And depending on the breed, a rabbit can produce 300 pounds of meat a year?). Rabbits are a common symbol for good luck and prosperity. And not surprising given the many gifts they can bring to the urban farmer. Small, quiet – they are the perfect compliment for an urban farm. Tour the “farm”, complete with chickens, ducks, and rabbits. And learn all about how much a rabbit can both humans and rabbits can thrive. Learn about things to consider for habitat, feeding options, breeding considerations, and many other gifts this wonderful animal can offer.
Coffee, tea, and light refreshments provided
